- Description
- To provide O&M services for critical infrastructure (CI) and critical facilities (CF) required by CSTC-A to successfully accomplish its operational mission to the ANSF in Afghanistan. The requirements include CI/CF, identified by CSTC-A, at various ANSF installations throughout USACE's AOR and will provide support services to uniformed Army/Police, Highway Army/Police, and border Army/Police, Ministry of Interior, and other ANA and ANP units and facilities located throughout the Provinces of Afghanistan. The O&M services that will be required in these contracts provide for life sustaining facilities, such as power plants, wastewater treatment plants, solid waste collection and disposal, water treatment, and HVAC maintenance and repair to facilitate ANSF security operations. The intent of the performance-based services contracts is to avoid failure to the ANSF mission objectives as the Afghanistan government prepares the ANA and ANP to take full responsibilities of sustaining and operating their installations.
