Description

Justification and Approvals Document This MOR is for the procurement of Tank Level Indicator (TLI) for Fuel Storage Tank from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (EMS). Existing Tank Level Indicator is inoperative and requires replacement. Replacement of this TLI can only be accomplished during the upcoming Ship Voyage Repair period. The tank need all the fuel contents to be pumped out, Tank need to be cleaned, Marine Chemist to certify "Safe for Men" "Safe for Hotwork", All interferences removed and re-installed after the TLI replacement has been completed. This job could take at least 7-10 days inport. Failure to accomplish this work during the inport period could result to fuel spill in space if the tank is being filled up and using manual sounding to check proper tank level. Recommend to process the TLI procurement soonest so as to be able to receive the package and plan for the installation during the voyage repair period.
