Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 16, is conducting market research to identify potential sources able to provide pharmacy inventory services for multiple facilities. The geographical footprint will include TX, LA, AR, OK and MS. In order to assess current market conditions, formulate an accurate cost estimate, and develop an effective Performance Work Statement, the Government is requesting industry feedback with respect to the areas listed below. Any information submitted by and obtained from industry as a result of this notice may be used in development of the final Performance Work Statement, cost estimates or terms and conditions of the actual solicitation. The anticipated NAICS code is 561990 - All other Support Services. Although the Government anticipates a set-aside requirement, a final determination will not be made until market research is complete. Submit responses to the Contracting Officer by June 5, 2015 at Fredrick.Wilson@va.gov. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. 1.What are the latest & best scanning technologies used for conducting pharmacy inventories in large medical facilities? Provide product literature if available. 2.What Quality standards do companies conform to for this type of work? 3.What quality procedures are customarily followed to ensure accurate inventories? 4.Recommended qualifications for key personnel performing inventories (certifications, special training, or licensing). 5.Provide comments regarding the anticipated NAICS Code. 6.What are the industry best practices? 7.Pricing Data - Is pricing typically per job, per item, per site (provide potential per unit pricing). 8.If available, submit Performance Work Statements that have been successfully issued in the past. 9.Recommended Evaluation Criteria.
