- Two 4-day on-site training courses required in Kansas City, MO 64131 to be held after June 12, 2015 for 20-30 students. Course 1 Requirements: Network and Packet Analysis: Provide ststudents the concepts, methodologies, and hands-on tools to analyze network traffic for the purposes of focused operations, cyber operations, pen testing, intrusion detection, and incident response. Each student shall be provided an overview on how packet analysis applies to their cyber security position. Provide an overview of the TCP/IP Stack to include UDP as it relates to architecture but also includes how packet analysis can identify and create network based attacks. Students will learn how to use TCPDump, TShark, and will be given an overview of commercial tools to conduct analysis. Course shall include:  Packet Analysis Overview  Application of packet analysis Cyber Operations and Focused Operations  TCP/IP / UDP Stack Review  Other protocols / Codecs  Deploy and configure TCPDump  Analysis Methods using TCPDump  Deploy and configure tShark  Analysis Methods using tShark  System Tests and evaluations  Hands-on Exercises and Final Practical Exam Vendor will provide the following takeaway items: A printed training booklet with the course material as well as copies of the guidelines, instructions, standards, and presentations discussed during the training. Every student participating should receive a certificate of successful participation, which will allow them to claim hours of Continuous Professional Experience for existing certifications. Credits must be accepted by ISC2, CompTIA and ISACA. Course 2 Requirements Malware Analysis: Provide students access to malware analysis processes, tools and procedures which allow them to identify threat levels of systems exposed to malware. Students should learn concepts needed to find, analyze, and characterize malware on a network. Course shall include  Malware Analysis Methodology  How to Conduct Open Source Research  How to Identify Malware  Determining the Threat Level of Malware  Capabilities and Characteristics of Malware Vendor will provide the following takeaway items: A printed training booklet with the course material as well as copies of the guidelines, instructions, standards, and presentations discussed during the training. Every student participating should receive a certificate of successful participation, which will allow them to claim hours of Continuous Professional Experience for existing certifications.
