Description
This is a MARKET SURVEY requesting information in support of the following potential requirement. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, nor is it a request seeking contractors to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. Response to this survey is voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey and any follow-on information requests. Data submitted in response to this market survey will not be returned. No solicitation documents exist at this time, and calls requesting a solicitation will not be answered. The intent of the market survey is to gather information to assess the potential for Bradley Fighting Vehicles (BFVs) to integrate technologies and, or Underbelly (UB) kitted solutions, onto the existing platform that will meet a set of defined and measureable requirements. These technologies or a potential kitted solution design should demonstrate the ability to be modular and easily integrated onto the BFVs. Impact on force protection verified through appropriate tools and techniques such as modeling and simulation and test, affordability, minimal weight not to exceed 4,100 pounds for entire kit, ease of integration, ease of installation and concept maturity are key attributes. It is desired that the multiple technologies chosen will be integrated as a kit to provide a synergistic protective effect on the BFV Platform. ********UBIS Inquiry LogBook is now available*********** Please note that all questions and answers will be posted anonymously to this website. The cut-off date for the Question and Answer period will be 22MAY2015. Questions that are received by this office after the deadline will be considered late and may not be answered.
