- Industry Day- ARI TRAIN III RFI W911NF-15-R-0009: The Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences (ARI) will be hosting an Industry Day for the upcoming ARI TRAIN III Multiple Award Task Order Contract acquisition. The Industry Day will be conducted online via Department of Defense web conferencing. Information regarding system accessibility and instructions will be provided when the Industry Day date is announced. The Government intends to award between five to ten Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts under this program. The Government also intends to award a partial small business set-aside as part of this acquisition. The Industry Day will include a Government requirements presentation, to include discussions of the draft Request for Proposal (RFP), as well as opportunities for interested vendors to present their relevant capabilities and ask questions. A date and agenda for this event have not yet been finalized, as we request all interested vendors to reply to this notice prior to scheduling and planning the Industry Day. If you are interested in participating in this event as a potential prime contractor or subcontractor, please respond via e-mail to usarmy.rtp.rdecom-aro.mbx.ari-qa@mail.mil no later than 1700 EDT, 15 June 2015. In your response, please include your business size classification for North American Industry Classification Code 541720 as well as your interest as a prime contractor or subcontractor under this program. Information Regarding ARI TRAIN III: With the rapid changes in and proliferation of Army needs, the ARI must continue to support building and sustaining an all-volunteer Force composed of highly competent and resilient Soldiers, adaptive leaders, and cohesive teams of Army professionals. The envisioned procurement, the ARI TRAIN III program, will be in support of these aspects of ARI's mission: Analyzing Soldier, leader, unit, and organizational development and training needs and requirements Design and development of exemplar or prototype methods for Soldier, leader, unit, and organizational development and training Design, conduct, analysis, and assessment of research interventions in Soldier, leader, unit, and organizational development and training Design, development, and evaluation of methods for the implementation and management of Soldier, leader, unit, and organizational development and training programs Design, development, evaluation, and incorporation of innovative state-of-the-art technology for efficiencies in Soldier, leader, unit and organizational development and training
