- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US WITH QUESTIONS. QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED AT THIS TIME. QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED DURING THE SOLICITATION PHASE OF THE REQUIREMENT. The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC), has a requirement for a firm fixed price, non-personal services contract for the supply and delivery of Crude Glycerin to the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant (NIWTP) located in Nogales, Arizona. The Contractor shall supply and deliver Crude Glycerin to the NIWTP located at 865 Rio Rico Industrial Park, Rio Rico, Arizona 85648. Delivery shall be required to be in bulk form and shall be placed in one of three (3) 5,000 gallon size storage tanks at the NIWTP. The NIWTP currently treats approximately 17 million gallons per day of raw sewage entering from Nogales Mexico and Nogales, Arizona. The NIWTP was recently upgraded to provide Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) resulting in a demand for supplemental carbon. Crude Glycerin is used as the main source of supplemental carbon. The Contract will consist of a Base Year from October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016 plus four (4) one year option periods. This will be a Small Business seat aside under the NAICS code 325199 ( All Other Basic Organic Chemical Manufacturing ), size standard is 1,000 employees.
