- SECM Heavy Foam Cut Out Locator Powerpoint SECM Leight Weight Foam Cut Out Locator Powerpoint SECM HVY AND LW Component List Spreadsheet SECM Request for Information (RFI) This is a Request for Information for a tentative requirement. Heartland Acquisition Center (HAC) has received a requirement from TACOM (Army) (PM-SKOT), to establish an up to 5 year contracting vehicle to procure replacement components for the Shop Equipment Contact Maintenance (SECM) Heavyweight Humvee (SECM-HY) & Lightweight Humvee (SECM-LT). The SECM unit provides the necessary equipment and work area to allow two mechanics to repair disabled combat equipment in the field. The SECM unit contains a large array of commercial off the shelf (COTS) tools and equipment, which have drawers designed to snugly hold each specific tool contained in that drawer. The procurement of replacement components would address lost, stolen, worn out items through normal use, or items voided from warranty due to misuse. Each SECM-LT unit has 863 components and each SECM-HY unit has 914 components. In addition to each one of these components being procured, PM-SKOT is requesting that the “tool load” which encompasses the 863 (SECM-LT) and 914 (SECM-HY) components, be procured as well. The storage cabinets have drawers with high-density polyethylene inserts with cutouts for each tool, ensuring needed tools are quickly found and easily inventoried and less likely to be lost or left behind. As part of market research HAC is issuing this RFI to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified contractors cabable of providing this equipment. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, make an award or awards or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry reponses to this RFI.
