Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for which proposals are being requested. This solicitation F7R3185152A001 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-82. This solicitation is currently set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code that applies is 311999 and business size standard is 500 employees. This action will result in the award of a blanket purchase agreements (BPA). A BPA is not a contract, but an quote mark agreement quote mark for which the terms and conditions (pricing, minimum delivery timeframes after order has been placed, etc.) of the agreement only apply when/if the Government notifies the contractor delivery of food is required and contractor confirms they can accommodate order/requirements. A BPA will have a life of five (5) years from date of award; pricing, terms and conditions will be reviewed on a yearly basis, at which time vendors will have opportunity to adjust rates per market/industry conditions (note: pricing may be adjusted prior to that time, per established terms and conditions). Requirement is for delivery of various foods (that meet USDA standards) and food-related items, for delivery to: 179th Airlift Wing, 1947 Harrington Memorial Rd, Mansfield Ohio Air National Guard 44903-8049 (note that occasional delivery to address different from currently listed, may apply). Orders are expected to be monthly (as a minimum). See attached spreadsheet for list of items to be priced, and confirm your company can deliver. Note that the attached spreadsheet quote mark product numbers quote mark are from Gordon Food Service site, and are provided for reference-only (not to be considered as items that shall be provided from Gordon Food Service). Any brand-names (e.g. Dawn dish soap) are also for reference only; all items are being requested as quote mark brand-name or equal quote mark the referenced product number and name. Quantities are for quote mark case quote mark (unless otherwise noted), per how Gordon Food Service delivers mass-quantities. If your delivery quantities differ from any of the referenced quantities, state as such, and note actual quantity your delivery provides. Qualified bid shall contain the following: -Attached Spreadsheet completed, with pricing (noting any items that are not available to be delivered/provided). oIf a certain item is not available from your menu, please provide what you believe is a viable substitute for that particular; match as many items as is possible. -A separate, complete all-inclusive menu/food item listing from company submitting quote. -Complete list of states other than Ohio, that your company can deliver to. -Statement of how long your pricing is good for. -Any ordering/delivery terms and conditions that apply to doing business with your company. Contractor's facilities shall meet minimum standards for federal, state (Ohio) and local governments as well as industry standards for health & safety, for all that apply to the type of products you provide. All eligible facilities shall be subject to any inspections that may apply prior to securing agreement with the 179th Airlift Wing (which may include: health, fire, security, safety, etc). BPA will be awarded based on which contractor's offer represents the best overall value to the Government. Price, any applicable past performance, ability to meet delivery timeframes, ability to provide various foods items (per review of completed spreadsheet, and review of overall company menu), shall all be considered in evaluation process. See also attached provisions and clauses that apply to this solicitation. Any requests for information in regards to this solicitation shall be submitted on attached request for information (RFI) template.
