- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Delivery Order under the N00019-11-G-0003 BOA to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (BHTI) for the procurement of Acquisition Logistics Support for the H-1 Upgrades Aircraft. The following list of products and services is required to support the H-1: logistics management support, maintenance planning and management, design interface manpower and personnel, supply support/material support, support equipment/peculiar support equipment, technical data, computer resources and software support, facilities and infrastructure, distribution and inventory management/Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T), configuration management, environmental impact/issues, logistics support analysis/provisioning, aircraft discrepancies, sustaining engineering and product support management. Period of performance will be for calendar year 2016 with options for 2017 and 2018. This effort will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that BHTI is the only known company with the knowledge, data, and capability to meet the Government's needs. This notice is for informational purposes only. Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority for FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days (fifteen days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
