- THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This notice is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine the potential firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The PWS is attached; please, see the link under quote mark Additional Info quote mark. COMMENTS, FEEDBACK, AND CAPABILITIES STATEMENTS ARE ENCOURAGED AND APPRECIATED. This requirement is for a non-personal services contract services contract to facilitate the development of VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline Toolkits for the support and implementation of the Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) recommendations for care and service on the management of various selected health conditions. Approximately four CPGs are developed and published each year. This contract request is to provide the subject matter expert for the facilitation and support required to reach working group consensus in determining the appropriate data for use in the development of each CPG Toolkit. NAISC code is 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, with the size standard of $15M. The respondents may identify other potential NAICS codes and the reasoning to support the recommendation. This requirement is a follow-on requirement to W9124J-10-P-0184, which was awarded on a sole source basis, as a firm fixed contract with cost CLIN for travel. The government's determination on how to compete the proposed requirement will be based on market research and responses to the notice; and is at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Since the current capabilities of industry, to include large and small businesses must be confirmed, all eligible large and small businesses are encouraged to respond.
