Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, intends to issue a solicitation for human blood products and related services for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89086. The solicitation under contemplation shall be for a firm-fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621991 and the Product Service Code/Federal Supply Code (PSC/FSC) is 6505 Drugs and Biologicals. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis at the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) on the FBO.gov website, and will be issued on or about July 15, 2015. The contractor shall ensure an adequate and readily available supply of blood products and related services. All blood products shall be collected, processed, labeled, tested, packaged, and shipped in accordance with all regulations of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Biological Evaluation and Review (CBER), as described in the United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 21, Parts 600, 601, 606, 607, 610, 640, and 660, and the Nevada Division of Public Health and Human Services. The contractor shall be accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). Deliveries will be required 24 (twenty-four) hours per day, 7 (seven) days per week, 365 (three-hundred and sixty-five) days per year. Contract awardee(s) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov.
