- DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: Contractor(s) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools and incidentals necessary to repair FSR #350 Sweet Road. Project will require removal and replacement of inadequate 24" and 36" corrugated steel culverts, ditch restoration, placement of crusher run aggregate at a depth of 3" (compacted) for 40' on either side of the new culvert installation, and placement of riprap as directed. Project is located on the James River Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests, Alleghany County, Virginia. RANGE OF THE GOVERNMENT ESTIMATE: The government estimate for this project is within the range of $100,000 and $150,000. This does not mean that our estimate for the price of the work falls anywhere within that range; it means that our estimate is an actual number that lies at a specific point between those two values. SITE VISIT INFORMATION: None is scheduled. Directions to the site will be included in the solicitation. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Contract time will be 60 calendar from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (http://www.sam.gov) in order to receive award of a contract. SET-ASIDE: 100% Small Business Set-Aside. BONDING INFORMATION: No bid guarantee will be required for this quotation. Successful contractor will be required to submit 100% Payment Bond within 10 calendar days upon notice of contract award. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Request for Quotations AG-3395-S-15-0019 and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps and will be available for downloading at the website address: http://www.fbo.gov. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Interested Vendor. The online Interested Vendors list will be the only such list maintained for this procurement. All responsible sources are welcomed to submit a quotation. In order to receive award, vendor must have a complete registration in the System for Award management (SAM) which is located at http://www.sam.gov.
