Description

SOW This contract will provide for the annual calibration and periodic maintenance of a variety of industrial hygiene (IH) equipment owned by Safety and Occupational Health Division of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA-HCO), located in Chester, VA. In order to maintain this equipment in operable status, many of the items require a certification of a manufacturer's-level annual calibration. In some equipment, normal operation over time causes issues with sensors, internal pumps, internal batteries, and other items, requiring replacement of these parts as a maintenance issue. In some cases, calibration efforts may determine a specific item has reached the end of its operational life, requiring a replacement end-item to be purchased by DCMA separately. None of the IH equipment owned by DCMA-HCO is of a classified nature. Quality control for these services is inherent in the manufacturer's-level efforts by the Contractor providing the services.
