- Description
- The requirement is for Fixed Wing Flight Training, which also includes aircraft, flight simulators and real property facilities, supporting equipment and materials necessary to conduct the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force's C-12 Fixed Wing Aviation courses. The C-12 Aviation Qualification Course (AQC) will include four-stage academic and aircraft training in single engine, Upset Recovery Training (URT) aircraft, light twin-engine reciprocating aircraft, and twin-engine turbine aircraft, followed by C-12V flight simulator training for U.S. Army rotary wing rated pilots that will qualify them as U.S. Army C-12V rated pilots. The C-12 Instructor Pilot Course (IPC) will include academic, C-12 flight simulator and flight training in an Upset Recovery Training (URT) aircraft and twin-engine turbine aircraft for U.S. Army fixed wing rated pilots that will qualify them as U.S. Army fixed wing instructor pilots. The C-12 Aviator Refresher Course will include academic and C-12 flight simulator training. The C-12 Aviator Qualification Course United States Air Force (USAF) will include academic and C-12 flight simulator training for instrument rated fixed wing military pilots or other pilots completing approved fixed wing conversion courses. The C-12 Instructor Pilot Course (USAF) will include academic and C-12 flight simulator training to upgrade U.S. Air Force C-12 mission pilots to C-12 Instructor Pilots. The C-12 Refresher Course (USAF) will include academic and C-12 flight simulator training for current, qualified Air Force C-12 pilots. The C-12 Track includes three-stage academic and aircraft training in single engine aircraft, Upset Recovery Training (URT) aircraft, C-12V and C-12U flight simulator training, and C-12U aircraft flight training for U.S. Army Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW) Common Core pilots that qualifies them as U.S. Army C-12U rated pilots, and familiarized with the C-12V.
