Description

Special Notice Announcement - Sole Source Purchase of Waste Removal Services for Reno VA Medical Center The Department of Veterans Affairs Sierra Nevada Health Care System plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain Waste Management services for Sierra Nevada Veteran Affairs Medical Center located on 1000 Locust Street, Reno, NV 89502-2597. The Reno VAMC intends to award a Sole Source contract to Waste Management of Nevada under FAR 6.302-1, Exclusive Franchise Agreement and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, 42 U.S.C. 6961(a). The Contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment and reports necessary to provide Waste Management services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Reno facility within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 21). The NAICS code 562111 applies with a size standard of less than 500 employees. The contract will be a requirement type and is expected to include a base year beginning Oct 1, 2015 to Sep 30, 2016, with two one-year options.
