Description

This project is located on FS Road 108 (Waw'aalamnime Creek) at milepost 1.0 and consists of realigning the road by up to 27' for a length of approximately 320 feet. There is also some watershed work that consists of installing three large woody debris log jams, removing 1 log weir, altering 1 log weir and installing willow barbs to enourage flow change in the creek. The log jams will require a small amount of rip rap, and soil to be placed on the logs to ensure they remain fixed. The project is located in the Powell Ranger District of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, approximately 79.5 miles east on Highway 12 from Kooskia, ID in Idaho County (Section 32, T. 37 N., R 13 E.) Turn left (north) on NFSR 108 (Waw'aalamnime Creek) and travel approximately 1 mile to project site. Start work July 20, 2015 with completion by August 15, 2015. Price Range: Between $25,000 and $100,000 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, SOLICITATION SHOULD BE POSTED BY JUNE 30, 2015
