- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 00HCVJB1-2015-84520 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-82. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 323111 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-06-16 16:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Chamblee, GA 30341 The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Canon Image Runner Advanced 6065 B/W Copier or equivalent. If equivalent is bid, vendor MUST submit specifications for unit so that it may be evaluated by end user. Failure to do so will be considered nonresponsive. End user wishes to trade in five OCE 7272 copiers on this line item. Please present your price as the price inclusive of trade-in allowance. You may submit your figures on the actual price of the copiers minus the amount of the trade-in allowance on a separate document. Copiers must be TAA compliant., 5, EA; LI 002: Canon Image Runner Advanced C7055 Copier or equivalent. If equivalent is bid, vendor MUST submit specifications for unit so that it may be evaluated by end user. Failure to do so will be considered nonresponsive. End user wishes to trade in an OCE 6572 copiers on this line item. Please present your price as the price inclusive of trade-in allowance. You may submit your figures on the actual price of the copiers minus the amount of the trade-in allowance on a separate document. Copiers must be TAA compliant., 1, EA; LI 003: Shipping costs if charged. We cannot do prepay and add. A shipping cost or estimate for shipping cost must be rendered at time of bid., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Bid must include confirmation of current SAM registration New equipment ONLY, NO remanufactured products, and NO "gray market". All must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Bid MUST be good for 45 calendar days after submission Bid is to include all fees, including shipping or freight costs. Provide on bid the estimated ETA, number of days, delivery can be expected after receipt of purchase order. Bid per specifications requested. If an item has been discontinued or is end of life, annotate bid referencing as such then bid an equal or better replacement for the item. NO partial shipments (if shipment is applicable) unless specifically authorized at time of award. All services and products provided in response to this requirement shall comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d) and the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board Electronics and Information Technical (EIT) Accessibility Standard (36 CFR part 1194). Bid must include statement addressing compliance or noncompliance with Section 508. Invoicing must be submitted in accordance with the resulting purchase order instructions A separate line item for a FedBid.com fee is unacceptable and will be rejected.
