- Description
- Approved Limited Sources Justification The United States General Services Administration, Northwest/Arctic Region, Public Buildings Service, Acquisition Management Division has a requirement for construction services for space consolidation for the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District at the Oxbow Building in Seattle, Washington. The project is being competed against the existing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business setaside Western Service Centers Design-Build Construction Idenfinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery Multi Award Task Order Contracts (GS-10P-14-LT-D-0034 with Burton Construction, Inc.; GS-10P-14-LT-D-0035 with Macnak Construction LLC; GS-10P-14-LT-D-0036 with VetFed-Pacific Tech JV 1; and GS-10P-14-LT-D-0037 with Ronsons SDVOSB P&L JV-1). The project does have several elements which require either brand name components, equipment, or use of brand name services due to configuration requirements to match existing finishes, added to components to existing systems installed within the building, and use authorized installers/programmers/other manufacturer's authorized representatives to ensure that warranties and programming is not voided. Additionally, there are speciality finishes and materials required to match the building specific standard to ensure that the market value, energy efficiency, and character of the building is maintain in this multiple national award winning LEED Platinum certified building The GSA intends to require WSC MATOC holders noted above to utilize authorized vendors and materials as noted in the approved Justification (see attachment for additional details).
