Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (i)The solicitation number is VA241-15-Q-0577 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Description ITEM NO. DESCRIPTION QUANTITY UNIT ESTIMATED OR STOCK NO. UNIT COST -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 # 2 LOW SULFUR HEATING OIL FOR WRJVAMC 148,200 GL REQUEST TO COVER FOLLOWING MONTHS AT PROJECTED CONSUMSTION. JUNE: 35,200 gallons JULY: 38,500 gallons AUGUST: 36,000 gallons SEPTEMBER: 38,500 gallons (ii)A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (VAAR) and can be accessed on the Internet at https://www.acquisition.gov/far(FAR) and http://vaww.appc1.va.gov/oamm/vaar (VAAR). (iii)This solicitation is issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 454310, and the size standard is 500 employees. (iv)This requirement consists of the following line items: #2 Low Sulfur Heating Oil (v)Delivery shall be FOB Destination, with all delivery costs as part of the final total amount. Please do not include any shipping costs as a separate line item. The item listed above will be delivered to White River Junction VAMC, at 215 North Main St, White River Junction, VT 05001-3833. (vi)A statement that the provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (vii)52.212-2, Evaluation- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1.Product meets the specifications 2.Price (viii)Please include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, with your offer or ensure it has been completed as part of your SAM.GOV registration.
