- The Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG, in support of Product Manager Soldier Protective Equipment (PM SPE), would like to announce the Advanced Combat Helmet Generation II (ACH GEN II) pre-solicitation meeting. Date: 18 June 2015 Location: Ft. Belvoir Officers Club 5500 Schulz Cir #20 Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 Time: 0800- 1600 The purpose of this meeting is to communicate the technical requirements within the draft Statement of Work (SOW) and Purchase Description (PD) for the ACH GEN II. The Government's intent is to brief Industry on the technical, quality assurance, and proposal requirements with the remainder of the day being made available for individual vendors to schedule one-on-one 15-minute sessions to discuss vendor specific questions with the ACH GEN II Contracting Officer and the Assistant Product Manager (APM). Each vendor is limited to one (1) 15-minute session scheduled on a first come first serve basis. Simultaneous Technical Sessions (45 minutes each), open to all, will also be available to discuss the technical and quality aspects of the individual products with the ACH GEN II engineering and quality representatives. The draft PD and SOW are included as attachments to this notice. The Government's intent is for Industry to have the ability to review the aforementioned documents prior to the Pre-Solicitation Meeting and ask questions. Advance questions are welcome and can be submitted to the below POC. This meeting is optional and attendance is not mandatory for proposal submission.
