- PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The United States Air Force (USAF) intends to award a sole source contract with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) for Laserfiche software and maintenance.. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The United States Air Force (USAF) intends to award a sole source contract with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) for Laserfiche software and maintenance.. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website ( www.fedbizopps.gov ). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services with a size standard of $15M. The USAF has a requirement for Laserfiche Software Assurance Plan (LSAP) for the latest hot fixes, updates, patches, and new releases/product updates as well as VIP technical support. Laserfiche will cover dedicated project support, on-site support/onsite training, preventive maintenance, information direct from manufacturer. Laserfiche is the only provider of this service as they are the sole manufacturer of the Laserfiche software licenses. The Laserfiche is the only vendor capable of providing support subscriptions and maintenance of their software. The services that Laserfiche will provide are vital to the overall business process of the USAF and will maintain and/or further optimize budget and accounting operations. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government and related industry, it has been determined the USAF's requirement can only be provided by Laserfiche software, as no other vendor is capable of providing the software support subscription and services for direct support of the USAF's mission. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to this office by 8:00 am, EST, on 12 Jun, 2015, by email to the attention of George Williams, Contracting Specialist, at g eorge.w.williams28.ctr@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
