- This is a Request for Information (RFI) for a tentative requirement for a Portable Ballistic Guard Booth in support of the U.S. Army Garrison - Rock Island Arsenal. No RFQ exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which ACC-RI can issue orders. This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, HubZone 8(a), 8(a), HubZone, Small Business, Emerging Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Large Business relative to NAICS. The Government will use the responses received for information/planning purposes and to identify potential sources as part of market research. All information received in response to this RFI marked quote mark Proprietary quote mark will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. ACC-RI will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Please submit RFI responses by email to: Steve Perry, steven.r.perry32.civ@mail.mil, (309) 782-1088 by 7 AM CST June 18, 2015. Services: The contractor will be required to deliver the booth to the Rock Island Arsenal, IL. The attached Draft Purchase Description describes only the currently contemplated configuration and may vary from the final Purchase Description included in any RFQ. The ACC-RI requests demonstration of capability by interested parties through submittal of a brief capability statement. Please adhere to the page limit and provide as much of the following information as possible. 1. Not exceed and will be restricted up to eight (8) pages. 2. Shall be electronically submitted to Mr. Perry at the email address below. A paper copy is not required or desired. 3. Provide any comments on the draft Purchase Description. 4. Include small business classification (s): (Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, HubZone 8(a), 8(a), HubZone, Small Business, Emerging Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Large Business relative to NAICS 5. List references and experience, as prime contractor, in providing similar items in the past 3 years.
