- ADDENDUM #1 - Request for Proposal #2806 - Introduction to Transit Asset Management Bid Opening Date: June 11, 2015 (date being changed to June 26, 2015 per Addendum #1) Addendum #1 is being issued to change the proposal opening date to Friday, June 26, 2015. Also, within the RFP under Section 3: General Information, Instruction to Proposers & Proposal Information, #6 Subcontractor Selection: "A firm date of July 30,2015 has been established for possible Step 2 interviews to be held in Washington, DC. All proposed instructors and project managers must be able to attend." REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL #2806 Introduction to Transit Asset Management - TPM16 Agency: The National Transit Institute Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey University Procurement Services 335 George Street Second Floor New Brunswick, NJ 08903 ATTN: Gail Schmidt, Senior Buyer gschmidt@rci.rutgers.edu Date for receipt of proposals : Thursday, June 11, 2015 - DATE EXTENDED TO JUNE 26, 2015 The National Transit Institute (NTI) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to facilitate its existing Introduction to Transit Asset Management two-day course. In addition, NTI may periodically request proposers to edit/update the existing course materials. The introductory course covers the principal of asset management and introduces the five core questions every agency should be able to answer about its assets. This course also illustrates available tools to support the use of asset management in transit agencies and provide guidelines for the implementation of these principles. This course is directed at mid- and senior-level managers who are involved in the day-to-day operation and use transit assets including rolling stock, guide way, and facilities to perform their duties. Executive management will also benefit from the course.
