- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District Contracting Office intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.501, to Louisiana Machinery of Monroe, Louisiana, CAGE 1SRJ2 in estimated amount of $206,361.00. The Contracting Officer has determined that only one source is available. This requirement is to furnish all materials, equipment, supplies, & labor necessary to overhaul and completely refurbish (1) Caterpillar 130G Motor Grader. A RFP/RFQ WILL NOT be issued based on this notice. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No Request for Proposals will be issued. A copy of the sole source justification & approval, prepared using the format at FAR 6.303-2 reflecting an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items is posted as an attachment to this notice. However, all information received within (7) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair & Maintenance with a small business size standard of $7,500,000.
