- Replace Transformer Station # 201A, Camp Algier, USAG Bavaria, Grafenwoehr Military Community. This project consists of the following work - disconnect existing transformer station, construction of a new transformer building with cable vault and gable roof, roof slope 30 degrees, installation of a medium-voltage switching system 24 kV, installation of a low-voltage switching system 400V, and installation of a low-voltage switching system 208V. Earth work: Perform earth work in the area of the new transformer station, provide a construction pit for the new transformer station with cable vault, provide strip foundations for the new transformer station, provide a gravel access road for the new transformer station, place gravel onto the surfaces directly adjacent to the new transformer station, backfill the construction pit resulting from the old dismounted transformer station, and restore the adjacent lawn surfaces. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. Magnitude of Work: $100,000 - $500,000. Time for completion is 210 calendar days, whereby a commencement time of 120 days is included. Work will not be performed on Germany and American holidays, and contractor must comply with German laws (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany). All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the Regional Contracting Office. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
