- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure and award on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a firm fixed price contract with Alliant Tech Systems (ATK), 13133 34th Street North, Clearwater, Florida, 33762, forty-six (46) Common Munitions Built-in Test/Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE) units. These units must be approved by the Weapons Systems Explosive Safety Board (WSESRB). ATK is the only company in the industry that provides WSESRB approved CMBRE units. Solicitation N68936-15-R-0089 will be issued and posted on FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov, on or about June 30, 2015. Estimated award is September 2015. All responsible sources may submit a written proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-15-R-0089 and clearly show the firm's capability, background, experience, and assets necessary to meet the requirement without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the product and without substantial duplication of cost to the Government. Responses shall be submitted by email to janet.campbell@navy.mil or mailed to Commander, Code 254130D Attn: Janet Campbell, 429 E. Bowen Road, MS 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108 within 15 days from the Notice date.
