Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is W9124J-15-T-0027 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-82. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110 with a small business size standard of $32.50M.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-06-24 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be in the Place of Performance. The MICC Joint Base San Antonio requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: Lodging as per the attached Performance Work Statement. The event shall be held in Orlando, Florida. Lodging and training MUST be located within 20 miles of the Orlando International Airport and the surrounding area shall have restaurants in close proximity to the hotel (preferably within walking distance). The Federal Government is tax exempt. Additionally, the Government will only pay for rooms utilized., 1, EA; LI 002: Meals as per the attached Performance Work Statement., 1, EA; LI 003: General Session Meeting Room - Monday 10 August 2015, 6:00 p.m. ? 11:00 p.m. and Friday, August 14 from 9:00 a.m. ? 12:30 p.m.. The Contractor shall also supply crescent round shaped tables with seating for six per table (max 8) and with linens for 65 attendees with water station., 1, EA; LI 004: Two (2) Break-Out Rooms: Sunday, 9 August 2015 ? Friday 14 August 2015: 6:30 a.m. ? 9:00 p.m. The Contractor shall also supply crescent round shaped tables with seating for six per table (max 8) and with linens for 30 attendees with water station. Six (6) additional chairs in back of room for observers. 3 tables (round or L-shaped) in back of each room for staff. Rooms should also be equipped with one large garbage can., 2, EA; LI 005: One (1) Break-Out Room: Saturday ? Friday, 8 ? 14 August 2015, 06:30 a.m. ? 11 p.m., set up for twenty (20) administrative staff with multiple outlets for computer equipment, tables are to be set up board room style, with six (6) additional - 6? foot skirted tables around perimeter of room, internet connectivity, house telephone, and water station. Room also equipped with one large garbage can., 1, EA; LI 006: Four (4) Break-out Rooms for Student Presentations, Thursday 13, August 2015 from 12:00 p.m. ? 6:00 p.m., set up with 1 rectangular table with ten (15) chairs and 1 flip chart with pad and markers., 4, EA; LI 007: Internet Service as per the attached Performance Work Statement., 1, EA; LI 008: Audio Visual (A/V) equipment as per the attached Performance Work Statement., 1, EA; LI 009: Color copier/printer as per the attached Performance Work Statement. The Contractor shall provide copier paper., 1, EA; LI 010: Registration and Support Area - The Contractor shall provide a dedicated area in the hotel to accommodate the registration process. The contract shall provide registration support in the form of skirted tables: Monday,10 August 2015, 12:00 pm? 8:00 pm, 3 - 6? tables for registration (can be waived if fixed registration booth is at location)., 1, EA; LI 011: Marquees and/or directional signs: Monday - Friday, 10 ? 14 August 2015, posted to help direct conference attendees to Family Programs events scheduled., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Joint Base San Antonio intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC Joint Base San Antonio is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Third party planner is defined as any organization which provides the arrangements for logistical support for an event or conference to the Government by subcontracting with or coordinating with a hotel or establishment, that the organization does not directly own or manage.
