Description: Smaller Asset Managers Pilot Program - Pre-Bidder's Conference Submitted Questions and Answers (June 8, 2015) The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is a Government owned corporation, established under Title IV of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) of 1974. Background and mission information are available at http://www.pbgc.gov/about/who-we-are.html. The PBGC has a requirement for active investment management services from a firm with at least $250,000,000.00 or more in Assets Under Management (AUM). The investment management services are for a US core fixed income portfolio with allocations ranging from $50,000,000.00 to $250,000,000.00. The portfolio objective will be to provide a total rate of return over a full market cycle that exceeds the portfolio benchmark (Barclays Capital US Aggregate Bond Index) at appropriate levels of risk. This requirement will be available for Full and Open Competition and there is no AUM or revenue maximum. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is "Portfolio Management" - NAICS 523920. The anticipated period-of-performance is 12-months with four (4) 12-month options. In order to be eligible for award, all responsible sources must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) and may register online at the website, www.sam.gov. PBGC will be holding a pre-bidder's conference on June 8, 2015 to provide information to interested parties in regards to conducting business with the Federal Government. This conference will be held at 1200 K Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20005 at 9:00 AM EST. Attendance may be in person or via teleconference. RSVPs are required and should be submitted along with any questions regarding this event to smallmgrpilotprogram@pbgc.gov not later than June 1, 2015. Please include the names of the attendees, the firm that they are representing, and whether they will be attending in person or via teleconference. In order to gain access to the facility all attendees shall provide one form of Government issued identification and arrive no later than 8:30 AM EST in order to process through security. A call-in number will be provided via email for those planning to attend via teleconference.
