- The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to aggregate materials for operation for 80th Training Command, TASS Training Center Fort Knox, hereafter referred to as quote mark Unit. The gravel is to be delivered to the 80th Training Command at Fort Knox,KY. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside based on conclusions arrived from conducting market research and issuing a sources sought. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not considered a request for quote. The solicitation will be posted on or about 19 June 2015. The closing date will be stated in the solicitation. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 212321, size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the FBO. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code, and register in the System for Award Management SAM) located at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code and register in the SAM at time of award may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror.
