Description
Steady State Cable Drawings Pulse Power Drawings Pulse Power Specifications Fiber Optic Drawings Fiber Optic Specifications The Naval Systems Command, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Code 02, Newport, RI has a requirement for the manufacture and delivery of electrical and fiber optic cable assemblies for use in the Signal Analysis System. The cable assemblies shall be manufactured per Government drawings and specifications. The Navy intends to award a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) provisions. The award will be based on Best Value (Technical Approach/Past Performance/ Price). Detailed procurement requirements and "Best Value" evaluation factors will be released upon issue of the RFP #N66604-15-R-1959, which is anticipated on or about 10-JUL-2015. Detailed procurement drawings/specifications (via Attachment) are available in conjuncture with the release of this Synopsis. The Naval Sea Systems Command Program Executive Office (Undersea Systems Warfare PEO-USW) has tasked NUWCDIVNPT, specifically Code 8541, with Technical Direction Agent (TDA) responsibility for the Signal Analysis System (SAS). The SAS provides the Navy with unique capabilities in the areas of signal analysis, near-ship Situational Awareness/Contact Avoidance, passive acoustic intercept and provides an Acoustic Communications capability when used with a laptop to input information to be communicated. There are four outboard sensors that interface with the inboard electronics via a set of three cables per sensor for a total of 12 cables per ship. The awardee must be a NAVSEA certified molding facility. The offeror shall provide NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO-20/MLDG certification. NAICS code is 334417; size standard 500 employees. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
