- REQUEST FOR QUOTE WITH SPECIFICATIONS The objective of this contract is to provide a new walk in freezer for the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill program of the Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute in Juneau Alaska. The successful contractor will be expected to provide a new walk in freezer per the below specifications. Specifications •A panelized unit is acceptable to reduce shipping costs. •This unit will be installed outside, but beneath an existing enclosure. The freezer must be no wider than 96 inches at the widest point in order to fit beneath the structural members that support the cover. If the condensing unit is mounted on top of the unit, it shall be no higher than 30 inches than the roof of the unit. (Note, the roof slopes. If the dimensions are close, specific measurements can be taken to determine if the unit will fit) •480V 3 phase power is available and preferred. 208V three phase is also available. •-20 temp •Minimum 30 inch door •U-shelving system •Alarm/light management (our system is tied into either 4-20mA sensor or 0-10V)
