- DESCRIPTION: The Mark Twain National Forest (managed by the USDA Forest Service) is advertising a project for road improvements on the Eleven Point Ranger District in Carter, Oregon and Ripley Counties, Missouri. Reconstruction and/or reconditioning will occur on various Forest Service roads within the project area. The Contractor will be required to provide all transportation, material, labor, supervision, equipment, operators, tools, supplies, licenses, permits and other incidentals as required in the Schedule of Items and Specifications of the solicitation necessary to perform road improvements. Activities will include, but are not limited to mobilization, clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, roadway reconditioning, removal, furnishing and replacement of corrugated metal pipes and furnishing, placement and compaction of crushed aggregate as well as related incidental work. GOVERNMENT PRICE ESTIMATE: The Government's estimated price range for the total of all items combined is between $250,000 and $500,000. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Interested parties are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database is required prior to award of a contract. There is no cost for registration in SAM when registration is completed on the official SAM website (www.sam.gov). SET-ASIDE: This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction; the Small Business size standard is $36.5 million. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Solicitation AG-64R4-S-15-0017 is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) and will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will consist of four line items. Multiple awards are possible because bidders will have the opportunity to bid on all line items, only one line item or any combination of line items. The solicitation and related documents will only be issued electronically via FedBizOpps and are expected to be available for downloading on or around June 30, 2015 from FedBizOpp's web address: http://www.fbo.gov. All responsible sources may submit a bid which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
