- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to provide school bus services for approximately 100 children in grades K through 12 at the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. in accordance with Attachment A - Statement of Work - School Bus Services dated 14 May 2015. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be firm fixed price, in accordance with the provisions and clauses included in Attachment B-Clauses and Provisions. The Government anticipates award of a base period and four option periods. The anticipated period of performance is as follows: Base year August 2015 - June 2016 1st Option Year August 2016 - June 2017 2nd Option Year August 2017 - June 2018 3rd Option Year August 2018 - June 2019 4th Option Year August 2019 - June 2020 As referenced in the addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items - offerors are required to submit an executed copy of Attachment 0003, DFARS 252.209-7992 Tax Liability with their quote. The following NAICS code and small business size standard apply: NAICS: 485410, Size Standard: $15,000,000.00. Award will be made to the offeror that submits a technically acceptable quote with the lowest evaluated price in accordance with Attachment A, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items.
