- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The US Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine has an upcoming requirement for Brand Name or Equal to ParvoMedics TrueOne 2400 instrument. Interested Vendors: Please review the Minimum Essential Characteristics (MEC) below and provide a capability response if you are able to meet them or can provide the Brand Name Item. Email Sharew Hailu at Sharew.Hailu.civ@mail.mil with your response by the due date. 1.System must include OUSW-4.3 O2 Uptake software Compact analyzer module (not tower), to include a paramagnetic O2 analyzer (0-100%), a single-beam high speed infrared CO2 analyzer (0-10%), pressure transducer/demodulator, pneumotach heater control, and auto-cal control hardware. 4-liter high-efficiency mixing chamber Hans-Rudolph breathing circuits, which include a heated pneumotach (0-800 L/min), non-rebreathing mouthpiece, and water trap assembly with filters Polar heart rate interface Gas sampling filters and Perma Pure drying lines 3-shelf mobile cart with wheels, gas mounting brackets, swing arm and power strip Standard calibration gas and 2-stage CGA973 gas regulator Weather station to measure temperature, barometric pressure and humidity On-site installation and training and 3-year warranty Suitable in high altitude studies 32 bit (not 64 bit) Have 1 serial port 2.System must use a precision algorithm for flow calibration. 3.System must have capability to interface with both treadmills and cycle ergometers used for oxygen uptake measurement during both maximal and submaximal aerobic exercise. 4.System must be independently validated.
