- SYNOPSIS FOR SLEEP APNEA DEVICES AND ACCESSORIES The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Service Area Office (SAO) Central, Veteran Integration Service Network (VISN) 16 has a requirement for Sleep Apnea Devices and Accessories. The South Central VA Health Care Network, also known as VISN 16, serves a veteran population of 1.8 million in an eight-state region that includes Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. More than 16,500 people work in VISN 16, which is comprised of ten medical centers, 40 community-based outpatients, six nursing homes, and two domiciliary. The contractor shall be required to supply specified sleep apnea devices and all accessories for the Veteran beneficiaries receiving care at the specified facilities included in this Statement of Work (SOW). The devices and accessories include, but are not limited to Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), Biphasic Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP), Automatic Positive Airway Pressure (APAP) Devices, Tubing, Filters, SD Card, SD Module, Humidifier, Water Chamber, Heater, Carrying Cases and Interfaces. A comprehensive list of actual requirements will be included in the Statement of Work within the solicitation package document. The period of performance for this requirement consists of a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The proposed contract action has no set-aside and is being procured as UNRESTRICTED. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing and the business size standard for this requirement is 500 employees. Any vendor desiring to be considered for award MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) using this NAICS code or a NAICS code with an equivalent size standard. No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following web site: www.sam.gov. In order to register with the SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must also have a Dun & Bradstreet Number. This procurement also requires offerors to complete the electronic representations and certifications at the SAM website. Any resulting contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract.
