- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 1. PROJECT TITLE: Environmental Remediation and Contamination Mitigation Services within Germany, Italy, other countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, Balkans, Israel 2. AGENCY: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District (NAU) 3. NAICS: 562910, Environmental Remediation Services 4. CONTRACT SPECIALIST: Erica Taylor, erica.j.taylor@usace.army.mil 5. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Germany, Italy, other countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, Balkans, Israel, and also within the continent of Africa where US Army Europe (USAREUR) installations. 6. DESCRIPTION: USACE EUROPE DISTRICT (NAU) intends to extend the period of performance for the following contracts and contractors in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services: W912GB-10-D-0030, Arcadis W912GB-10-D-0031, AMEC W912GB-10-D-0032, CH2MHill W912GB-10-D-0033, Hydrodata/ECC W912GB-10-D-0034, Zenith/W&F These contracts were competed on solicitation W912GB-10-R-0006. The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements and FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. FAR 52.217-8 was not evaluated at time of award for the contracts. The duration of performance/ordering is a maximum of six (6) months. The current option expires on 1 July 2015. The maximum period of performance for the bridge is 2 July 2015 to 1 January 2016. This request for information is not a request for proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition of this extension will be advantageous to the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due by 1200 hours, 25 June 2015.
