- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract to perform maintenance pipeline dredging for various sections of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway from Freeport to Matagorda Bay including Channel to Palacios with two Options. Option 1, dredging Channel to Port Lavaca (Section 1) and Harbor of Refuge (Sections 5 and 6). Total estimated quantity is approx. 862,000 cubic yards. No placement area work required (PA's are all open water/unconfined). Option 2, dredging Channel to Port Lavaca (Sections 2 through 4). Total estimated quantity is approx. 869,000 cubic yards. No placement area work required (PA's are all open water/unconfined). The estimated award date for this project is 4 Sep 2015. Completion time for Schedule No. 1 is 205 calendar days. An additional 75 calendar days will be added for each Option 1 and 2, if the options are exercised. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Solicitation is 100% SMALL BUISNESS SET-ASIDE. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 15 Jul 2015. Response date is 14 Aug 2015 @ 2:00 PM. ATTENTION TO OFFEROR(s)/CONTRACTOR(s): On July 14, 2014, Small Business Administration (SBA) increased the monetary-based industry size standards to account for inflation.
