- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) on a full and open competition basis to solicit sources capable of supporting a continuous maintenance availability (CMAV) to include helicopter refueling station deck repair, watertight hatch repair, removal and reinstallation of MRG flexible hoses, ventilation modification work, retractable bitt repairs, replacement of RAST Control Station and Pilot House windows, repair of CIWS ammo hoist actuation switch enclosure and various cleaning and pumping on USS ROOSEVELT (DDG 80). Offerors must have or be able to obtain an Agreement of Boat Repair (ABR) by the time of award. This synopsis is for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or any Government commitment. The Government will not reimburse interested parties to this notice for any costs associated with responding or subsequent information exchanges. Future announcements will appear on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov, which interested parties should monitor for updates. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 7299a(c), the "Homeport Statute", this procurement will be competed among offerors capable of performing the work in the Mayport homeport area.
