Description

Notice of Intent Notice of Intent The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a sole source award to Magnext, Ltd, for replacement Tape Libraries. This equipment is used by PBGCs, OGC/LTAD and WSD departments to facilitate search and retrieval of otherwise uncontrolled legacy records which have been backed up to tapes. Magnext Ltd., shall provide the following: •· Overland Neo 4000 Tape Library Chassis with a 40-slot capacity •· Refurbished SDLT 320 LVD tape drive module with tray for NEO2000/4000 Libraries •· OV 2G FC to LVD internal library card for Neo Library. •· 3 years of Warranty on refurbished products. This is not a Request for Quotation, but a notice of Intent. An RFQ will not be issued. Interested parties may submit their capability statements for the required services to Judene Dayes at dayes.judene@pbgc.gov no later than June 19, 2015, 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation will not reimburse any costs connected with providing the capability information. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice.
