Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice announcing that the National Park Service, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument, intends to issue a Request for Quotation for construction, to install the footing for a Government-Furnished prefabricated hexagon steel shelter at the Carnivore Amphitheatre as the base bid portion of the project, with an option for erecting/installing the 45-foot shelter as the remaining phase of the project. The Government previously purchased the shelter in the previous fiscal year and, if the option item to erect the shelter is awarded, the Government will furnish the entire shelter "kit" to the contractor for erection/installation. Vendor will be responsible for all equipment, labor, tools, and materials necessary to complete site work that includes but is not limited to excavation, base preparation and compaction, concrete forms, concrete, concrete reinforcing, backfilling, site restoration, and removal/disposal of all excess/waste material from the site. SET ASIDE. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238990 with an associated small business size standard of $15 million. A single firm-fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of the solicitation. Solicitation number P15PS01504 will be issued as a Request for Quotations, posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about July 1, 2015 with a response date 30 days thereafter. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS, EMAIL REQUESTS, OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov, posted as a complete solicitation package that will consist of seven separate attachments (Standard Form 1442, terms and conditions, drawings, and a Davis-Bacon Act wage decision). Once at the FBO website home page, type in solicitation number as P15PS01504, then click "search." Next, click on the underlined title "Install Footing/Prefab Steel Hexagon Shelter," to open the announcement page where all seven attachments will be posted and made available for interested parties to view/print/save. It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website to download all amendments and attachments which may also be issued against the solicitation prior to the solicitation's closing date.
