- "Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offer for any costs." The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, supplies, parts, transportation, tools, equipment, and facilities necessary to perform work required, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The specifications and applicable drawings will be released with the posting of the official solicitation. The following is a summary of the work to be performed at the Central Heat & Power Plant (CH&PP) : Installing Fire Alarm System, including Fire Alarm Control Panels, NAC panels, Releasing Panels, conduit, conductors, junction boxes / enclosures, notification devices, temperature sensors, relays, transmission antennas, other related ancillary equipment to make a complete system. Providing final system commissioning and programming of the central station Monaco D21 unit. Demolishing the existing system, including Fire Alarm Panels, conduit, conductors, junction boxes, notification devices, temperature sensors, and attachment devices. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed-Price contract. This acquisition will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210 and the SBA Small Business size standard is $15,000,000.00. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204(f). THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) program in order to receive a contract award from any DoD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: https://www.sam.gov to register and/or obtain information about the SAM program** The solicitation will be available on or about 9 June 2015 and will remain open for 30 days. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement, all solicitation documents will be available electronically and it is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notification of updates to this procurement via this web site.
