Description

The West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS), located at 300 Veterans Blvd., Big Spring, TX 79720, intends to enter into a firm fixed price task order for the maintenance and repair of two (2) Steris sterilizer units. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 8 - Required Sources of Supplies and Services. The contractor will be required to provide on-site maintenance and repair services, including parts. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this service must provide proof that authorization from the manufacturer has been attained by notifying the Contract Specialist no later than 03:00 PM EST, 06/18/2015. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications and description of services that meets or exceeds the capabilities of the manufacturer. Notification shall be e-mailed or faxed to Jessica Roman, Contract Specialist, jessica.roman@va.gov, fax: 432-517-4586. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes.
