- This is a sources sought notice and should not be construed as a solicitation announcement. The submission of this announcement is for the purposes of compliance with FAR 5.205. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to procure or compete for any services or supplies. The Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT) is seeking marketing information, from responsible sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of providing the following: Perform Original Equipment Manufacturer recommended high level maintenance in accordance with FCC/C10F 11311.1 instructions. This requirement is for the preventative maintenance of three (3) Caterpillar emergency generators. Equipment is located at Naval Satellite Communications Facilities North West, (NAVSATCOMFAC) Chesapeake, VA. The preventative maintenance services must be performed by an authorized Caterpillar service provider. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) considered for this effort is as 811310- Electrical generating and transmission equipment repair and maintenance services, the SBA business size is $7.5 million dollars. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, catalog, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the NCTAMS LANT office. Product and company information, and CAGE code must be submitted via email to Cynthia.clemons@navy.mil. Submission shall be received by 4:00 PM, Eastern Time, 22 June 2015 and shall not exceed one (1) 8-1/2 x 11 page for company information and one (1) 8-1/2 x 11 page for each individual item. This synopsis is only for market research purposes. This RFI does not constitute a request for proposal nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of response to this notice. All data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the U.S. Government. Interested offerors shall address this requirement through this RFI in written format via email to Cynthia.clemons@navy.mil Reference: Market Research for the preventative maintenance of Caterpillar generators. Personal visits for discussing this announcement will not be scheduled.
