- J&A THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the renewal of software maintenance during the FY2016, from the Chicago Interface Group for FASTLIST WORKBENCH software maintenance. Software maintenance includes the receipt of new versions and releases of software products. The resulting purchase order will be a sole source award for one (1) year only. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency no later than 12:00 pm on July 8, 2015. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor's capabilities and the ability to comply with above requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. All documentation and questions submitted will be forwarded to the Technical Point of Contact for evaluation. Items being purchased: FY16 annual software maintenance renewal for Chicago Interface Group`s FASTLIST WORKBENCH software being used in Ogden, UT. Support time is 24x7x365. Qty 1 Period of Performance: 10/01/2015 - 09/30/2016 FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds. As prescribed in 32.706-1(a), insert the following clause: Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
