Description: This is a COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation has been prepared with the intent to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, utilizing procedures under FAR part 13, for Commercial Items as described in the schedule below. The proposed contract action is for KLS Martin LP Cranial Fracture Implants, which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to KLS Martin L.P.; 11201 St Johns Industrial Pkwy S.; Jacksonville, FL, 32246; under the authority of Far 13.106-1(b)(1). Justification: Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)1,Sole source justification is based on KLS Martin L.P. having proprietary ownership, and sole distributorship, of needed implants. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
