- This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research and informational purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations, and no contract will be awarded as a result of this notice. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources; and their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. The NAICS code is 339112 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business set-aside is possible. The Government intends to award a Firm, Fixed-Price contract upon completion of the solicitation process. Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) is seeking qualified sources to provide 30 each Kendall SCD 700 series compression units, brand name only, to prevent venous thromboembolism (VTE). The salient characteristics are: vascular refill detection for customized compression cycles based on patient venous refill time; able to use with sequential, gradient, and circumferential compression sleeves; able to use with multiple sizes of sleeves (foot, claf, thigh, and full leg); able to compresses the entire leg surface; multiple adjustable alarms and display settings; vibration dampeners for noise reduction; battery operated; variable temperature control. Qualified sources may submit capability statements that substantiate their experience and qualifications within one week from the date of this notice. Other interested firms may submit their product information and specifications if they offer a product that meets or exceeds the quality of the one TAMC is seeking, and they have provided similar supplies to military medical treatment facilities and/or the general public under terms and conditions similar to those stated in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your equipment offerings and options. All interested businesses must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) through the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
