Description

This is a Sources Sought in accordance with FAR 10.002. This is not a solicitation for quotes, neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kinds of offers will be considered in response to this Sources Sought. This is strictly for market research purposes. There will be no reimbursement for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or follow-up information requests. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified businesses that can provide an enterprise solution to monitor and track patient radiation doses, including cumulative dose, from multiple sources of ionizing radiation within VA facilities in Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN) 23. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Based on the information gathered, a determination shall be made by the contracting officer, if a solicitation is issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 423450. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor shall provide a solution to provide radiation dosage monitoring/tracking for VISN 23 for approximately 345 modalities specified in Attachment 1. The solution shall integrate with PowerScribe 360 and meet all requirements listed in the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall provide the required solution to include server hardware. EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION/SERVICE: Each interested vendor must be able to comply with the requirements listed in the SOW. PERFORMANCE: Vendors will be responsible for all supplies and services listed in the SOW. RESPONSE INFORMATION: Response to this Sources Sought must be submitted to blake.mcilvane@va.gov. Each response will receive a confirmation email; if a confirmation is not received please call 202-679-2883. If your organization has the potential capability to provide the requirements listed in the SOW, please provide the following information: 1. Organization name, address, email address, website address, DUNS number, telephone number, business size (i.e. large business, small business, service disabled veteran owned, veteran owned, woman owned, disadvantaged, HUBZone, 8(a) small businesses) for NAICS code 423450. 2. Length of time it would take to provide requirements of the SOW at all locations listed in section 6 of the SOW. 3. For each listed device, specify whether the proposed solution is capable of integration (designate this in column H of Attachment 1). 4. The proposed solution shall capture, record, and display modality specific dose metrics as they are available from the imaging modalities specified. Please state the number of dose metrics that can be provided. Responses must be received by this office on or before 4:00 PM EST on June 30, 2015.
