Description

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to award a sole source contract to Phillips Corporation, 7390 Coca Cola, Hanover, MD 21076, for Performance Assurance Service with Reactive Service and Spare Parts for the CPSC's Haas VF2 machine at the CPSC Laboratory. Phillips Corporation is the original vendor of the machine needing maintenance and as such has maintained a full history of the service records for the CPSC's Haas VF2 machine. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can supply the service may give written notice to the Contract Specialist via email at dbraswell@cpsc.gov, 1 PM EST on July 2, 2015. SUPPORTING EVIDENCE MUST BE FURNISHED IN SUFFICIENT DETAL, to the above listed email address, Attn: Derrick Braswell, Contract Specialist. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS. Responses will be evaluated: however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Government. If no responses are received, CPSC will proceed with negotiating a sole source award to Phillips Corporation.
