Description

The Network 23 Contracting Office, 708 South Third Street, Suite 200E, Minneapolis, MN seeks response from all contractors whose primary business focus is within NAICS 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction; size standard $33.5 million. This Sources Sought Notice is not a solicitation and no award will be made solely as a result of response to this Notice. This Notice is market research, in order to identify contractors that have the experience and capabilities in commercial construction to construct a data center for the St. Cloud, Minnesota VAMC: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to completely and satisfactorily perform the construction of a new data center immediately East of and adjoining to building 4 on the St. Cloud VAMC campus. Base bid will include the incorporation of Half Tap Splicing of the 17,000 existing copper pairs for connection to the new Data Center location. This splicing will occur in the tunnels per drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to general construction, metals, wood, plastics and composites, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, furnishings, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical, electrical, multiple communications systems, electronic safety and security, earthwork and exterior improvements, utility systems and electrical power generation.
